FC Series
The FC Connectors feature a threaded coupling nut system for reliable mating. This high-performance connector is available with zirconia ferrules with standard PC and APC end-face, and with custom hole sizes from 80 microns up to 1000 microns.
SC Series
The SC Connector features a push-pull latching mechanism for quick insertion and removal while ensuring a positive connection. This connector is available in a PC and APC versions with custom hole sizes from 80 microns up to 1000 microns, .and a wide range of various housing colors and boot types.
LC Series
The LC Connector is a small form-factor fiber connector with a push-pull latching mechanism for quick insertion, and removal while ensuring a positive connection. This connector is available in a PC and APC version and with custom hole sizes from 80 microns up to 750 microns.

SMA-905
The SMA 905 connector is a non-contact connector that utilizes a threaded hexagonal or knurled round nut for mating and de-mating. It is available with zirconia or stainless-steel ferrules and various hole sizes up to 1500 microns. It is typically used in medical, industrial, and military applications.
High Power SMA-905
The Kientec High Power SMA 905 Connector features a stainless-steel ferrule with a counter bore end-face or well tip, which significantly reduces connector failure due to excessive heat and debris in high power laser applications. A uniquely designed fiber retention centering sleeve allows for precision alignment of the fiber inside the ferrule. It further protects the connector by eliminating epoxy on the connector end face.
ST Series
The ST Connectors utilize a bayonet style coupling mechanism. The highly customizable connector is available with zirconia or metal ferrules with ID sizes ranging from 80 microns to 1000 microns. The ST Connector is an ideal solution for medical and other specialized OEM applications.
Ferrules
Ceramic Ferrules
Our Standard Ferrules are typically used as sub-components within fiber optic connectors but can also be integrated in various specialized applications. They are made of zirconia ceramic, which offers the highest performance and durability of all ferrule material types. All Standard Ferrules are precision manufactured according to strict quality standards.
We can also manufacture Custom Ferrules which are made of alumina or zirconia ceramics. They are available with inside diameters from 80 microns to 1100 microns, in lengths from 2.5mm to 22.5mm, and with features such as multi-step, countersinks, flats, slots, grooves, and chamfers.
Metal Ferrules
We offer a wide range of high precision stainless steel 303 ferrules with flat end-face for ST, SC, FC, LC, and SMA-905 connectors. Standard Ferrules are available with inside diameters of 126um to 1200um.
We can also manufacture Custom Ferrules made of various materials, including Stainless Steel 316, Arcap AP1D, Copper, Aluminum, and Brass. Available OD sizes range from 0.50mm to 4.0mm, and ID sizes range from 126um to 1500um, in any length from 2.5mm to over 30mm. In addition, custom ferrules can be made with features such as multi-step OD’s, counter-bores, flats, slots, and grooves.

SMA-905 Adapters
We produce and offer several types of SMA-905 adapters. These include our standard SMA adapter, High Precision SMA adapter with split sleeve, environmentally sealed SMA adapter, FC/SMA hybrid adapter and inline SMA adapters.
Bulkhead Adapters and Receptacles
Our bulkhead adapters and receptacles are typically used for one connector to project light into free space. The light can then be manipulated or used by other optical devices, such as lenses or detectors. In addition to our standard bulkhead adapters, custom SMA lens adapters are available for OEM applications.
Alignment Sleeves
Our Alignment Sleeves are manufactured to the highest quality standard for superior performance and durability. Standard singlemode and multimode ceramic sleeves are typically used for FC, ST, SC, LC, and SMA connectors and ferrules. We also offer custom split and solid sleeves made to your exact specifications.
Mating Sleeves
Mating sleeves are typically used for connecting two fiber optic connectors or ferrules. The precision-made sleeves are available for 1.25mm, 2.5mm, and 3.17mm ferrules in zirconia or phosphor bronze.
Flanges
Our Ferrule Assemblies are available with standard type SMA, SC, ST, LC, or MU flanges. For specialized applications, we can design custom ferrule assemblies with high-precision flanges made of various materials, including stainless-steel, nickel-plated brass, or copper, to meet your exact specifications.
Metal Dust Caps
Our threaded Metal Dust Caps are made of nickel-plated brass. These caps provide better protection than vinyl dust caps by keeping particles and contamination out from connector end faces or laser ports. Available as FC or SMA types with optional chain.
